Zachary S. Brugman, Esq. (“Zac”), Associate Immigration Attorney, has been with the firm since October of 2015. He represents clients at removal hearings in Immigration Court and before US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Attorney Brugman has gained extensive litigation experience over the last three years in Arizona’s detained and non-detained Immigration Courts. At his former law firm, in managing a +150 caseload as sole immigration motion, brief, and appellate attorney for the firm, Mr. Brugman acquired significant experience on virtually every type of immigration case.

Mr. Brugman has a track-record of success in administratively closing removal cases and in securing the liberty of clients at highly contested bond (and Rodriguez bond) hearings. Attorney Brugman has represented many immigrants claiming asylum, withholding of removal, and protection under the Convention Against Torture (CAT), such social groups represented include LGBT, victims of human sex-trafficking and of cartel recruitment. Zac’s passion for Immigration Law, desire to serve the underrepresented, and enjoyment of research, allows him to gain expertise on any scenario faced in the field.

Mr. Brugman was raised in “the valley of the sun,” and attended Willamette University College of Law where he earned his J.D. and Certificate in Law & Government. Mr. Brugman practices immigration law exclusively and is licensed in Oregon.

Mr. Brugman‘s scholarly article has been used as an authority in a ground-breaking amicus brief for a major case decided by the US Supreme Court.
